I represent a school, can I join fundwaste?
Fundwaste is focused on changing peoples behaviour towards waste. We believe that providing a monetary value will support this change. We like working with schools, because there are emotional bonds with schools and parents. By acknowledging that the clean plastic and paper waste will generate a source of income for schools, we believe parents will be happy to "donate" their waste. So yes, we welcome schools.
Do you only deal with plastic and paper waste?
We only focus on recyclable plastic and paper waste because we do not have the infrastructure to deal with other types of waste.
Where do the prices for the plastic and paper waste you are showing come from?
We maintain relationships with paper and plastic recyclers and reprocessors in the UK and Overseas. We are given prices on a frequent basis. We also work with the paper and plastic industries, research and news outlets. We review the pricing and publish the average pricing. This is to given you an indication of the revenues you can expect from your collections. As we work for you, the final revenues may be higher than we quote because we continuously source the highest sales price.
How can I buy your stock of paper and plastic?

Do you need drivers to collect the waste?
This will depend on location as we have team of drivers already trained. Please contact us via the contact us page. We will reply to you within 24 hrs.
How do I get paid once you have sold my paper and/or plastic?
On completion of your application to join us, we request your bank details so that payment can be transferred to your nominated account. Please note that we will not ask you for any money. Our service to you is to make money for you. One receipt of funds, we will transfer the funds according to the weight of the plastic and paper collected. We expect payments for each collection to be made within 2 months. But it could be sooner. We do our best to sell the waste at the earliest opportunity.
How do I open an account with fundwaste?
There are two ways to open an account. Whether you are a customer, driver or recycler. You can either send us a request through our contact us page or you can create an account on the fundwaste mobile app.

What is the difference between unsorted and sorted waste?
As you know, we only deal with plastic and paper recyclable waste. If the plastic and paper is only given to us without separating it further, this as known as unsorteed waste. however, do get higher revenues, we request that you separate the plastic and paper into its different subcategories. This is known as the sorted waste.
How frequently can I book my collection?
Your mobile app will show you the current status of your plastic and paper waste. You can book the collection when the collection bags are near full. However, if the quality status bar is showing an amber or red status, you will need to check the plastic and paper first to remove any contaminants.
Can we get training to understand how we monitor and check the plastic and paper being handed in?
We do provide training about plastic and paper waste. We prefer to train a trainer. We refer to this person as a "champion". We will explain the guidelines around what paper and plastic can be recycled and what cannot. The champions will have responsbility for educating others in their group. They will also have responsbility for booking the collection and taking the decision on whether the waste is to be collected as unsorted or sorted.
