Vision Machine Learning and artificial intelligence

We use Microsoft Azure machine learning algorithms to train our waste sensors to recognise bad quality or incorrect waste through a form of supervised learning. This is known as Artificial intelligence. It enables us to analyze data and make decisions and act on that data without involvement by people.

We use advanced machine learning  algorithms to support the monitoring of the quality of paper and plastic waste being collected. This ensures that the items we pass onto recyclers is always of a premium quality. The success rate of our machine learning performance is currently above 85%.

Pricing algorithm

We use algorithms to support the pricing of the waste we sell to the recyclers. This is required becase of the complexity of the various touchpoints in the plastic and paper lifecycle. We use data on the waste collected, location, weather, recycler location, market trends and general recycler pricing. The information is processed to ensure that sales price of the paper and plastic is always at the highest value it can be.
